Brownie Troop 3660 enjoys a visit to the Seventy-four Ranch

Posted Monday, March 26th, 2007 at 9:19 am

We had a delightful visit from Troop 3660 from Atlanta. The girls got an introduction to what a working ranch is all about. They met our foals, and watched Menny drive up the herds to the fence line. They learned how to feed a horse treats, some horse safety and got to ride my horse Susie. Menny and Larry gave them a roping lesson, and there was a tour of the Butler-Cape house and cabins. A fine morning was finished off with snacks and marshmallows roasted in the fire.
