Larry and I took a walk around the grounds last night in what I call the “Jesus light.” It’s that light before sunset when everything looks so golden and perfect. I have bought some new flowering baskets for the porches and a new azalea topiary. One whole corner of the property is ablaze now with azaleas, dogwoods, crabapple, redbuds and tulips. It makes you feel good just to be alive!
