The ranch is rich in the history of the West, the Cherokee Nation, the Moonshine War generation, and the Civil War.  We can create a Western, Cherokee, Moonshine War or Civil War experience, based on our history, for parties of 20 or more.  Advance notice and deposit is required.  Be prepared to relax and enjoy yourself as you take in the rich history of North Georgia.  See more on the Reenactments page.

Old West Weekend

During the Old West weekend, guests will get a true taste of a cowboy's life.  From ropin' and ridin' to cowboy singing and poetry, you'll feel like you've stepped back into the Old West.

Cherokee History Weekend

The Cherokee History weekend will introduce you to life as a Native American.  You'll learn about the ways the Cherokees used the land's resources for survival.

Moonshine Wars Weekend

On the Moonshine Wars weekend, you'll learn about the famous Moonshine Wars in which the Cape family was involved.  Your hosts will tell you of the legends of the family who were center stage in the North Georgia Moonshine Wars. 

Civil War Battles

The Civil War Battles will take you back to the 19th Century South with real southern food and authentic Civil War tents filled with antiques.  You'll sleep on featherbeds and enjoy all the luxuries of a southern plantation home.  See more on the Reenactments page.
